The tradition of this mining community, invites tourists to know the old facilities that are still used by small miners pirquineros and where the wealth is extracted to provide this land. The process of mining is done mlienda in Maraya and Trapiche showing tourists the importance of this activity from antiquity to the present.

The Maraya: This craft is used for grinding of minerals. Actuation by hand using a stone grinder which rests on a cylindrical cup that was in its early stone and is now concrete. It was widely used in the years 1935 and 1936 for the extraction of gold. Today you can see in the yards of some homes and is still used for limited pirquineros in the area.

El Trapiche: A mechanical system used in mines for the ore crushing and extraction of metals (gold and copper) which is used since the late nineteenth century.
