La Paloma Dam

Located approximately 112 miles southeast of La Serena and 9 miles west of Monte Patria.
Work of Engineering, opened in 1968, has a storage capacity of 750 million cubic meters of water. You can access up to the gates and spillway. Is a regular boat, where visitors can browse. Fishing may pejerrey Argentinean trout and activities can be performed as trekking, photography and observation of landscape, among others.

This is the largest irrigation reservoir in Chile and the second Sedamérica.
